Aspiring DJ Cole (Zac Efron) is a 23-year-old who spends his days working in the Valley and his nights dreaming of making it in L.A. As Cole tries to create tracks that will set the world on fire, he meets James (Wes Bentley), a famous DJ who could be the key to his success. Friendship, love and betrayal interfere but eventually inspire Cole as he struggles to find his voice and create his own future in this modern coming-of-age story.
