Carl (Greg Kinnear) is a former follower ? not of Christ, but of the Grateful Dead ? who has since become ?found? in Pastor Dan Day's (PIERCE BROSNAN) Evangelical community, serving as one of the preacher?s great examples of spiritual and moral transformation.
