Night Falls on Manhattan

A struggling lawyer zooms to prominence as a New York District Attorney after his father, a detective, is shot by drug-dealing baddies. But once the emotionally-charged trial begins, he finds himself unable to answer the defense's charges of corruption in every corner of the police ranks.

Synopsis: An inexperienced district attorney is assigned a high-profile case; his investigation uncovers corruption in the NYC police department which may implicate his own father.
