Corinne (Blyther Danner, Ann Tyler's Saint Maybe) and Michael (Emmy and Golden Globe award-winner Beau Bridges, "P.T. Barnum") are the loving parents of the charmed Mulvaney clan: Sons Mike (Mark Famiglietti, "Hang Time") and Judd, and their teenaged twins Patrick and Marianne (Golden Globe winner Tammy Blanchard, Life With Judy Garland: Me and My Shadows ). When the close-knit world of the Mulvaneys is shaken by an event that detroys Marianne's innocence, the young girl falls victim once again -- this time to her family's feelings of shame, guilt and rage. Closed off in an insular world of denial and alienation, the Mulvaneys unwittingly precipitate a spiral into further violence and darkness. But the very tragedy that rends the fabric of their family ultimately becomes the catalyst for healing in an honestly emotional climax of hope, reunion and forgiveness.
