THE OVER THE HILL GANG is a nostalgic TV-movie roundup of veteran talents, corralled for a genteel western spoof. When a small Texas town is besieged by political corruption, several elderly ex-Ranges reunite to stem the crooked tide. Among the oldsters are Pat O'Brien, Walter Brennan, Andy Devine, Edgar Buchman and Chill Wills, all looking spry and fit enough to tackle any foe young or old. But when they realize that physical exertion is somewhat beyond them. the Over-The-Hill Gang utilizes brainpower and bluff to rout the villains (which included stalwart Jack Elam).
